What are Classic eyelash extensions?

Eyelash extensions are semi permanent lashes that are applied to your natural lashes one at a time, to lengthen and add volume to your natural lash line. Classic lashes are perfect for everyday wear, giving the illusion of beautiful natural full lashes.

How long do eyelash extensions last?

With the proper after care your lashes should last between 4-6 weeks. Refills are a great way to extend the life of your lashes, and are recommended every two to three weeks, depending on the growth of your natural lashes.

Are mink eyelash extensions cruelty?

Although many lash artists call their lashes ‘mink lashes’, in fact, those lashes are mostly NOT real animal hair but it is a synthetic PBT material that mimics the shine of animal mink hair. Some lash studios might offer ‘real mink hair’ lashes as a service but, it is getting rare. At Pink Moon Beauty i use ‘synthetic mink lash (faux mink), because the PBT has excellent flexibility and retention to its curl and color. 

How do i prepare for eyelash extensions?

Arrive to your appointment with no eye makeup or mascara. Avoid oil based products on and around your eyes. If possible shower before your treatment because you cannot wet the lashes for the inital 24hrs after application. If you wear contacts remove them before your treatment.

How do i take care of my eyelash extensions?

After you receive a set of Classic Mink lashes, you will be given an after care card to aid you in maintaining this look and extending the life of your lashes.

Most important after care to note before coming for your treatment is, avoid getting your lashes wet for the first 24 hours. Avoid steam rooms and saunas, overall, refrain from all heat treatments for 48 hrs to allow adequate time for bonding.
